Short bionotes:
Plamena Slavova Stoyanova graduated as a bachelor of History (2003) and Master of Archive and Document Studies (2005) from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. In 2012 she obtained PhD in Bulgarian History from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, by defending the PhD thesis ““Bulgarian State Policies Regarding the Gypsy Population in Bulgaria (1944 -1989)”. Since 2013 is appointed as an assistant professor at the Balkan Ethnology Department – Institute of Ethnology with Museum, BAS.
She specialized in the Universität Innsbruck, Austria (2008) and Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia (2010). She is an author of numerous articles on policies regarding minorities in Bulgaria.
